The preparation of the »Prekmurska gibanica« is entered in the Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.

It is with great pleasure and pride that we bring together the producers of this traditional dessert, which in 2021 have baked 137 tonnes. Anyone can contribute to the preservation of the »Prekmurska gibanica« for future generations by buying it from certified producers that adhere to the prescribed recipe.
